General situation
With a total area of 42.6 square kilometers, Housha Yu is an
administrative town of Shunyi District, where its superior environment
and convenient traffic make itself a singular district in Beijing.
Since the Reform and Open, especially in 1990's, Housha Yu has been
a hot spot for investment in Beijing's suburb. In 2000, the city hall's
No.67 conference authorized Housha Yu as one of the Small Town's Construction
Experiment-units. With these supports, now our town has absorbed total
61.4 hundred million yuan's fixed asset investments, so a new city
is coming into being, which is relying on international airport based
on industrialization, and making a progress in real estate and hi-tech
industry.
Housha Yu region is in the northeast of Beijing, on the east-border
of Capital International Airport. It is only 20 kilometers between
this region and the town center to the Airport lounges. The No.101
national road runs across our town from south to north, the Shun-pin
road together with the Hou-sha street being crossing it from east
to west. All make this town an important window for Beijing's opening
to the world.
